Geelong's major charitable organisation, United Way, raises in excess of $1 million each year to assist with the health and well-being of thousands of local people in urgent need of care - whether it be shelter for a woman and her children fleeing domestic violence; support of cancer patients; assistance to people with an intellectual disability; or support to people facing genuine crisis and hardship.

Every year local organisations and their employees, service clubs, schools, colleges and hundreds of individual Geelong citizens choose to support United Way as the most effective and accountable way to make a difference to the people of the Geelong region. You too can assist United Way in its quest to improve the lives of local people by inquiring about the payroll deduction program, making corporate donations, becoming a regular donor, participating in United Way fundraising events, and/or including United Way as a beneficiary in your Will.
