Tides/Sun/Moon
The Beach Calendar(tm) presents information about tides, sunrise and sunset
and moon phases. Times for sunrise and sunset are given above the arrows.
The white box represents daylight and begins with sunrise and ends with
sunset. The black box represents night. Times for high and low tides at
Port Philip Heads are given under the peaks and troughs of the blue wave.
All times are accurate for Port Phillip Heads and are pre-adjusted for
daylight saving - no arithmetic is needed. Port Phillip Heads tide times
are accurate from Flinders to Point Lonsdale. Torquay tides are, on average,
10 minutes earlier, Anglesea 15 minutes earlier, Lorne 20 minutes and
Apollo Bay 25 minutes earlier.
